Art Specifications

We accept artwork via email, disk or camera ready.

If you choose to send your artwork via disk or email please observe the following guidelines:

 

  • Please fax or bring in hard copy of your art so we can verify accuracy. If a hard copy is not recieved, we will not be held responsible for any errors on your artwork.

 

  • Please be sure to include your company name, address, phone number and file name on all emailed artwork sent. If your file is unidentifiable, it will not be opened until we are provided with the proper information to match your artwork with your order.

 

  • Please choose a file name that is related to the artwork. Also please be sure to include the name of the application and version used to create the artwork.

We are PC based. In order to ensure the best quality we strongly urge the use of .eps, .pdf (be sure to embed all fonts) or .tiff format for all files. Please use spot color in all artwork. Also, you will need to provide separations with registration marks for all color artwork, otherwise additional art fees may apply.

 

The following software applications are available:

Corel Draw, Version 9.0 (Save as an .eps) 
Adobe Photoshop, Version 6.0 (save as an .eps, .tiff, or .psd)
Adobe Acrobat PDF
We can also accept compressed files with the following applications: WinZip

Pantone Matching System (PMS) colors are designed for the offset printing industry, and for inks that are to be printed on paper. The system applied to plastisol inks comes very close to matching PMS colors. However, since plastisol ink is different from offset ink, an exact PMS color match cannot be guaranteed in any plastisol ink matching system. Pantone color matching is available for $25 per color.

 

 

Standard Imprint Sizes for Screen Printing:

  • Logo Size (also know as "left chest" or "sleeve:): This is a typical imprint size for a company logo to print on the breast area or sleeve of a shirt. The logo imprint size is any size 4" x 4" maximum or smaller. The typical logo size print is 3.25" x 3.25".
  • Youth Size: This imprint size is for printing across the full front or full back of the shirt of youth size shirts. 8.5" x 8.5"
  • Full Size: This is our standard imprint size. This imprint size is for printing across the full front or full back or the shirt. The full size imprints is approximately 11"x 11".
  • Ballcaps: This is our standard imprint size. 4.75" x 2.5"
